Explore the darkness and light of the real Edinburgh, a city with a split personality!
In this bespoke private walking tour, you’ll take in the views and hear the history that made Edinburgh a Unesco world heritage site. We’ll wander the old town, from Holyrood to the castle, tracing the city’s roots. You’ll hear tales of royalty and rebellion, body snatchers and poltergeists, and meet the real Jekyll and Hyde.
Then, we'll head down the Mound, past the Scott Monument and on to either Calton Hill, from where you can take in the Georgian splendour of the New Town and discover why Edinburgh is the called Athens of the North, or down to Dean Village to discover the Water of Leith and the beauty of Edinburgh's ancient milling past.
Tours last over 3 hours, with timings and specific places tailored to your own individual requirements. If you want to get up early or take in the city later in the day, we can make that happen.
Bookings are priced by group, regardless of size. Just get in touch via the contact form to arrange your preferred time.
