The Spirit of Galloway tour
Discover Scotland’s best kept secret. Experience our forgotten south west corner with a custom 1-3 day dour led by a local with a passion for Galloway.
Often described as “Scotland in miniature,” Galloway has it all - mountains, moorland, rolling hills and sandy shores. It was very nearly Scotland’s third national park, until the locals decided against it. Galloway is a place bursting myths and legends, sites that predate even the pyramids, and hidden history. It might seem remote now, but geographically, Galloway is at the heart of these islands, and at the centre of our history. It’s the place St Ninian brought Christianity to Scotland, the place Robert the Bruce began again and a place of pilgrimage for Scottish kings and queens.
Walk the footsteps of Vikings and Covenanters, freedom fighters, smugglers and poets. Explore Sam Heughan's Distillery, Scotland's Book Town and some of Scotland's most beautiful landscapes.
Whether you’re in Edinburgh, Glasgow or you're already here, I am excited to show you the place I still think of as home on a custom 1-3 day tour.
